PH315-54-Query-Does the Double Sided 4TB SSDs & Wi-Fi 7 cards is supported in my Predator Helios300?
Hello!
I own a 2021 Acer Predator Helios 300 with the following details:
Model: PH315-54-760S
CPU: Intel i7-11800H
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060
Wi-Fi card: Killer Wi-Fi 6 AX1650i
Here it is:

My questions
1. I know my laptop supports two (2) single-sided PCIe 4.0 4TB SSDs like the Samsung 990 PRO. However, does my laptop support double-sided 4TB SSDs like the following Kingston FURY Renegade model:
https://www.kingston.com/en/memory/search?partid=SFYRD/4000G
2. Does my laptop support a Wi-Fi 7 card? If so, which of the following does it support:
a) Intel Wi-Fi 7 BE200 [Form Factor: M.2: PCIe*, USB]
b) Intel Wi-Fi 7 BE201 [Form Factor: M.2: CNVio37]
c) Intel Killer Wi-Fi 7 BE1750 (i/s) [Form Factor: M.2 2230, M.2 1216]
Thank you.

Kingston recommends a Fury Renegade up to 1TB SSD which is Single Sided, the 4TB module is double sided and will fit OK, may require a thermal wrap instead of a heatsink.
The best options for upgrading your Wi-Fi card would be the Killer 1675i or the Intel AX211, both of which support Wi-Fi 6E, AFAIK this laptop does not support W-Fi 7 cards.

@Puraw Thank you so much for responding.
If you're certain that the double-sided 4TB Kingston FURY Renegade SSD does indeed fit inside my laptop, I will go for one. I realize that an SSD with a heatsink is unlikely to fit - be it a single-sided or double-sided SSD - so I will get thermal pads.
Regarding the Wi-Fi 7 supportability, what determines whether a Wi-Fi 7 is supported, and how can I find out for certain?
Thank you.

Wi-Fi 7 is the latest technology that very few laptop brands have adopted, I checked, and your laptop will not support Wi-Fi 7. I am sure the RAM slot in this laptop model support double sided modules; thermal pads may already be installed above the slots on the inside of the back cover.

Thank you once again, @Puraw, for confirming that Wi-Fi 7 will not work on my laptop.
To clarify, in my original post, I was not asking about double-sided RAM slots. I was asking about double-sided SSDs.0 -
Hi, I meant double sided SSD is supported in your laptop not RAM, typo. Hope this answers your questions. 😉
