Predator PO3-640 stops responding, often entirely stops working, image stays on screen

My Predator PO3-640 often entirely stops working, image stays on screen, but no processing in applications is done, sound stops, mouse and keyboard stop responding, can only be shut down by holding down power button. This happens more often after booting while using the windows "hibernation" function. After restarting the pc for the first time from the crash, a very random and unpredictable error usually happens (blue screen with ram access exceptions, two bsods happening at the same time with different errors, another crash, and not booting to bios while only playing a monotone beep not stoping until shutdown (here a restart does not help, problem fixes itself after about an hour when pc is not connected to power)). Otherwise the pc runs fine. I ran RAM tests using the windows tool, no errors found. I tested cpu and gpu using stress tests, nothing happened. Could it be the power supply?

    The key in your description of the problems is the extended beep at startup. A long beep that doesn't stop is an indication of a memory failure and the result of one of the first tests performed during POST. If the memory is flaky, but sometimes can pass those tests, all the rest of the issues could be due to the memory problems. Do you still have just the stock memory? You can try reseating it in case the issue is just dirty contacts. If you have placed different memory in, either to supplement the existing or in replacement for the stock, let us know the make and model of the memory…

    if ur talking about glitchy screen/ black screen and not able to do anything. this happened to me when i installed a ram stick in another slot. so i cleaned the slot and reinstalled the ram and it worked for me.

    maybe u can try the same

    the pc is prebuilt and i havent touched anything yet (except for cleaning the fans) as i do not have much experience. would RAM tests not detect a badly installed ram stick?
