USB-C fast charger connected to Nitro V ANV15-51, but still it was slow charging?

This laptop needs a 135W charger for fast charging via the dedicated power port. It can also be charged via the USB-C port. I have used a "140W" USB-C charger with a 240W rated USB-C cable, but the computer still said it was slow charging. Does anyone know of any USB-C charger that would provide fast charging for this computer?

You have to be very careful with the high wattage USB-C chargers and electrical arching when you unplug the USB-C plug as that can cause damage to your laptop, also most USB-C chargers will not charge and operate the laptop at the same time like the oem barrel chargers do. There are USB-C 135W (check if its a 135W/6.92A to suite the ANV15-51) so that it can the ANV15-51, check the Lenovo Legion C135 Gallium Nitride Type-C Charger, ThinkPad 135W AC Adapter (USB-C): that are all 135W so try them out.

Note: The best charger for your Nitro ANV15051 laptop is the Acer barrel charger provided for your laptop as that has a fast charge and is the best charger for this laptop.

Nitro ANV15-51 Acer oem adapter chargers are the best charger for your laptop.

I appreciate your advice. What I am really looking for is something that is not as bulky or heavy as the original charger, but also provides fast charging. I have used a 65W USB-C charger. It only did slow charging, but charged the battery adequately for me, even while I was using it. A 140W charger was inconsistent at fast charging.

I use the laptop mostly for photo editing. Although I've added RAM for a total of 24GB, it's still running slower than desired. I could add more RAM, but I also read that the system runs faster while being charged.

I would be curious as to your thoughts on this.

Unfortunately there is no such thing as "I am really looking for is something that is not as bulky or heavy as the original charger" as USB-C chargers of 64W do not have the power to fast charge and/or operate at the same time a 135W/6.2A gaming laptop like your AVN15-51, Acer do not make a USB-C charger but as I've said check out the Lenovo Legion C135 Gallium Nitride Type-C Charger or the ThinkPad 135W AC Adapter (USB-C): that are all 135W so try them out. Good luck and let us know how you made out.

my ANV15-51 came with 19.5V 6.92A 135W brick and after playing some games that kinda using more cpu an gpu power than usual, the battery percentage drop eventhough i'm charging it the whole time and i plan to buy the 19.5V 9.23A 180W is it okay? and it doesn't harm the battery or laptop right?

Hi, I already replied to your earlier post, a 180-W power adapter will be OK but make sure that the plug size is 5.5mm x 1.7mm. The correct USB-C charger for a gaming laptop like you have is the 100-W Asus ROG charger that fast charges:
    ROG 100W USB-C Adapter | Gaming chargers-and-adapters|ROG - Republic of Gamers|ROG Global (asus.com) available at Amazon.

    Hi.
You said "I have used a 65W USB-C charger. It only did slow charging, but charged the battery adequately for me, even while I was using it. "
Can you tell me what brand and model it is? Because I am satisfied even if it charges slowly and I want to use that charger.

Hi, there are three posters with different questions on this same 5-months old thread, I recommend that each start their own new thread, clearly stating the full laptop model, what type of barrel plug power adapter or USB-C charger is used and the issue. You will get faster responses that way. 😉

I use the same computer as the person I wrote under his message. So I asked him the question. I wanted to benefit from his experience.
