I bought my Acer nitro 5 a week ago.

It worked fine this morning. I had 2 hours class so I turned it off but when class ended it won't turn on.

When I press the power button, the blue light turn on for 5 seconds then turn off and nothing happen, even on ac it won't turn on.

Last thing I did was to turn the refresh rate to 60 Hz and dark mode on to save battery.

My nitro 5 model is an515-58.

Is there any way to solve the problem ?

The AN515-58 laptop is a 2023 released laptop, I don't know if you bough your laptop new or refurbished or used, have you got an Acer warranty on this laptop or a buyers warranty from where you bought the laptop from. What I would do first is do this:

    1. Do a soft battery reset like below that is suggested in the laptops service guide:

    2. If the above doesn't work take the laptop back to the place where you bought the laptop from and get them to fix the boot problem, as the laptop has either a frozen EC chip that needs a hard reset which needs the laptop to be opened or its EC chip is shorted and needs replacing, which needs a technician to replace and reprogram.

This is the AN515-58 EC chip

    3. Or at worse you laptop has a main power rail mosfet/capacitor/resistor that has burned out and is not allowing the laptop to boot and needs replacing. It could also be a Chipset chip that needs a technician to replace.
