Hi,

It's been 10 months since I bought the laptop(i9 4070) and I am facing battery issue. The design capacity is 90kmah but now it's currently at 55kmah.The same issue occured like a month ago where the battery would drain from 100% to 0% by multiples of 2(like 98 96 94 92...0) and shutdown.Last time I ran battery calibration from Predator Sense and it fixed it for a month and now the same issue is back again. Can someone pls suggest the course of action and why is the issue repeating???.

Hi, update Windows with KB5044380 last October 22 that fixes excessive battery draining with Modern Standby enabled. Also uninstall all preinstalled programs and bloatware that run at the background, Check Task Manager Processes how many apps run at the background if more than 70 uninstall programs you don't need and don't use 80% battery charge limiters.

    Hi,

Thank you so much for replying.By update windows with KB5044380 do you want me to revert the 24H2 update?.Can you please confirm what the pre-installed programs and bloatware are so that I can be safe not to remove essential programs.I will make sure to disable the charging limiter to 80% in Predator sense. Also I ran the battery calibration again hoping it would fix the issue again but it didn't do so,the battery calibration ran for about 4 hrs .I used my laptop like 5 mins ago and the issue still persists.in battery report it now says 28kmah(sry if I'm getting the units wrong)

This link shoes exactly what's happening.
