Just bought a new mouse. Downloaded the HQ software, great for making profiles and updating drivers, not great for troubleshooting.

Read the accompanying instructional pamphlet, not worth much info at all, aside from telling me what the various parts and pieces are. Doesn't say what the 2 of 3 power switches are for. Nor does it talk about the dongle, other than plug it in.

So, i plug in the dongle, it does nothing but give me a message from Windows 11 that says it's not working. I plug it into another USB port, same sound and message.

Is this mouse dongle not Windows 11 compatible? Is this a bad dongle?

I gotta say I am not overly impressed with what's now regular plug and play compatibility and I have to rely on a USB cable to use this mouse.

Sorry to come off a bit, ummm, upset, but I did pay a nice chunk of coin, living overseas and sat on this item a few months before using, so an exchange is not possible.

Interesting that Acer never enters into any of the community discussions. Quite a bit disappointing, since it's their product that consumers are asking about. I am guessing this will likely be my first and final purchase of an Acer product, considering it's an over-priced knock off of another brand.

It sounds like you have a bad dongle. Return the mouse and dongle for a replacement.
