Hi, To reset your Acer VG240Y monitor to its default settings, you can follow these steps:

    1. Turn off the monitor.
    2. Press and hold the "Menu" button on the monitor.
    3. While holding the "Menu" button, turn on the monitor.
    4. Release the "Menu" button when the monitor's OSD (On-Screen Display) menu appears.
    5. Navigate to the "Factory Reset" option in the menu and select it.
    6. Confirm the reset by selecting "Yes" when prompted.
    7. The monitor will reset to its default settings and then turn off.
    8. Turn the monitor back on and the reset should be complete.

Note: The menu button and menu options may vary slightly depending on the specific model of your Acer monitor.

I am facing the same problem. I was just playing with various refresh rates and now i am unable to go back to normal display. The screen is coming all garbled up with lines visible all over. I cannot even see Menu options or any text on the monitor.

How do i reset the monitor? I tried following the steps mentioned above but when i press Menu button and switch ON the monitor, nothing happens till i release menu button. The problem still persists.

Please help - on how to rese the monitor VG240YS
