Well… people did warn me about the quality of Acer products. I did not listen.

I bought a Nitro 50 with the intel arc 380. big mistake. Now i have to get a new video card.

The GPU does not even register with NitroSense, the fan is noisy and keep turning on and off , cant even control the fan speed to stop it from constantly starting and stopping. Anyone found a solution for this?

Sorry but there is absolutely nothing wrong with Acer products and whoever warned you about Acer products doesn't know what they are talking about, as there are bugs with every product. If you are knowledgeable about graphics cards and the new graphics products, then you should have know and/or read reviews on the new Intel GPUs called the Arc 380 GPUs before inviting in a system with this GPU, as they do have bugs and are know for having bugs!

The Intel Arc 380 was included as an option in the Nitro N50-6xx desktop purely as a cheaper spec option, also be aware that Intel has never ever made dedicated GPU cards before the Arc graphics card range, hence and that is why the new cards do have bugs that need to be sorted out and its got nothing to do with Acer, as its NOT and Acer product,.

Be aware that the Intel Arc 380 GPU was provided with the N50-6xx desktop as an option asa cheaper retail option and affordability, as the NVidia and/or AMD GPUs are a more of an expensive option, and if you would have been aware, a much better and reliable graphics platform(s) and your Nitro N50-6xx would have been more expensive, that is the breakdown of this so don't put Acer down in any way as Acer do not make these Intel Arc 380 GPUs, but Acer warranty and tech support in your country, will fix and/or replace all faulty products that your N50-6xx desktop has. Good luck and hope this helps you out.
