Hi,

does anybody know if it's possible to connect multiple external monitors to an Travelmate X349-G2-M?

I see there is HDMI and DP via USB-C.

How would I confirm before I purchase monitors with the required ports?

Thanks, and regards

Yes, your X349-G2-M supports monitors on both the HDMI port and the USB-C via an adapter cable. The adapter can provide either an HDMI or DP. I would be tempted to purchase monitors with both HDMI and DP inputs, but use USB-C to HDMI for the adapter. That gives you the most flexibility going forward.

    Hi, thanks for your answer!

Do you have got first hand experience with this laptop and setup? I read in a review of this laptop, that they were unable to get a display signal out of the usb-c connector using an adaptor …

Here are a couple of snippets from the service guide for the TravelMate X349-G2-M models:

So it certainly should work as advertised… Note the DDI 2 in the block diagram, that's the video signal to the USB-C port.
