Here’s my PC:

Acer Nitro 50 N50-640 - i5-12400F / RTX 3060 / 16GB DDr4 / 512GB / Windows 11 HOME

I have purchased a …

Kingston SSDNow KC600 SSD - 512GB - 2.5" - SATA-600

and a …

DUTZO Sleeved SATA Power Extension cable

but cannot find where to plug it in to the PC.

I removed my graphic card for better access.

Try looking near the motherboard for an open SATA port and a free power connector should be around the PSU

I have spent 1 hour looking for the port without luck, hence the picture added to this post.

Bought a data cable which I was missing and need to find a new power cable since the old one was incompatible.

A person might be wondering about the correct installation steps, compatibility of the new disk, and whether they need additional tools or software to complete the process.

Ah, I see—so in the grand scheme of installing an SSD, pondering the mysteries of compatibility and the potential need for mystical tools takes precedence over actually, you know, powering the thing. Perhaps the 6-pin ports are there to channel my inner tech wizard, but what I’m really looking for is a practical way to get my SSD up and running. Any chance you could drop some enlightenment on that part?
