If you're encountering the "Windows Script Host Cannot Find Script File" error on your Acer Predator Helios Neo 16 running Windows 11, here are a few steps you can take to resolve the issue:

    1. Delete Temporary Files

    1. Open the Start menu and type "%temp%" in the search box. Press Enter.
    2. Select all the files and folders in the %TEMP% directory by pressing Ctrl+A.
    3. Right-click and choose "Delete" to remove all the temporary files.
    4. Close the window.

    2. Disable Script Debugging in Internet Options

    1. Open the Start menu and type "inetcpl.cpl" in the search box. Press Enter.
    2. Click on the "Advanced" tab in the Internet Properties window.
    3. Scroll down to the "Browsing" section and check the "Disable script debugging" option.
    4. Click "Apply" and then "OK".
    5. Restart your computer.

    3. Disable Suspicious Tasks in Task Scheduler

    1. Open the Start menu and type "Task Scheduler" in the search box. Press Enter.
    2. In the Task Scheduler, navigate to "Task Scheduler Library" > "Microsoft" > "Windows" > "Windows Update".
    3. Look for any suspicious tasks that may be causing the script error, such as ones that reference "wscript.exe" or ".vbs" files.
    4. Right-click on the suspicious task and select "Disable" to prevent it from running.
    5. Restart your computer.

    Part 2- (Important one)

To address the "Windows Security Center service can't be started" and "can't run script file" issues on your Acer Predator Helios Neo 16, you can incorporate the SFC and DISM commands into your troubleshooting steps. Here’s how to do it:

    1. Run SFC Scan

    1. Open Windows Terminal (CMD) as Administrator:
      • Press Win + X and select Windows Terminal (Admin).
    2. Execute the Command:
      • Type sfc /scannow and press Enter.
      • Wait for the scan to complete. It will check for integrity violations and attempt to repair any corrupted system files.

    2. Run DISM Command

If SFC reports that it found corrupt files but couldn't fix them, proceed with the DISM command:

    1. In the Same Terminal Window:
      • Type DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth and press Enter.
      • This command will check the Windows image for corruption and attempt to repair it using files from Windows Update.

    3. Re-run SFC Scan

After running the DISM command, it's advisable to run the SFC scan again:

    1. Re-run the Command:
      • Type sfc /scannow once more and press Enter.

    4. Restart Your Computer

After completing these steps, restart your computer and check if the issues persist.

These commands help repair system file integrity and may resolve the problems you're experiencing with Windows Security and script execution errors
