I am having terrible problems contacting someone in authority

Two weeks now and nothing is happening. I am being fobbed of by so-called customer support trying to tell me that a cast iron hinge breaking is down to me!!! Anyone else having problems with after sales?

Hi, I broke the hinge on my 2020 Aspire5 A515-54G by continuously opening the lid on one corner (with one hand). The hinge got too tight, and I forced the lid open, and the hinge assembly broke loose from the lid. So yeah, it is possible to break a metal hinge.

Thanks but that is not the case here….I've only had it for 4 months! And I still cannot get in touch with anyone in authority, I just get a scripted call centre employee

Did the hinge itself break, or did it pull loose from the case? Those are very different failures…
