Hello, I have a Chrombooks Acer Spin CP713 Series, model N18Q2 with generation 11 processor, it initially worked very well, but for a while now it no longer works, when you turn it on the screen is dark but the on/off button lights up blue and the The fan turns on and after a few seconds it turns off, I've already tried washing it, it doesn't work, I've tried resetting it, it also doesn't work with no battery, the problem persists. What to do?

Washing a laptop does nothing, you have to be careful when washing a laptop that no liquid gets into the laptop mainboard that could short circuitries like an EC chip, as even a small drop of liquid can damage chips.

I suggest that you do a hard reset by taking the battery out and leaving the laptop like that for at least 1 hour preferably overnight so that the EC chip of the laptop resets if its frozen, then put the battery back and reboot the latop, as it should boot and work properley. If that doesn't do anything then its either a bad battery or you need to have the Chromebook laptop analyzed by a technician.

It sounds like the drive has failed. The lower end versions of the ÇP713-2W models use an eMMC drive soldered to the mainboard, which is why they replaced the board on the initial repair.

    Try below steps:-
Unplug the power cable if it is connected . Press and hold the power button. It will turn off.

Now press the power button. Don't hold it .

It will power on. It will go to login screen. Please type the regular password and login to computer.

Connect the charging cable and charge the battery.

@choifam you don't have the same version Chromebook as this thread addresses. Please start a new thread with your issue. Include the full model number. Your full model number is usually on the same sticker as your serial number, it should look something like CP713-xxx-xxxx. Describe the issue you are seeing and what you have tried so far to resolve it.
