Hello

I just bought my new Acer laptop 2 days ago but i already have issues.

The CPU seems to be always very hot (60°C minimum) and when i launch any task it comes up easily to 78-80°C just for a web research. Here on this screen for a 3% load i almost reach the max temperature of my intel core 7 ultra 155h (110°).

You don't say which Swift Go 14 model you have, there have been several different base models over the years. Your full model number is usually on the same sticker as your serial number, it should look something like SFG14-xxx-xxxx. I've asked the moderators to edit your post so the full serial number isn't shown. Your temperatures don't seem to be normal, so they may have not done a good job with the thermal compound, or the fan may not be running. Some of those models have multiple fan curves, and the "silent" setting could easily give you close to those numbers with everything else normal.

    Hello

Thank you for the answer !

The full model number is : SFG14-72-75AA EVO

The fans were running (and noisy too) and on the screen you can see that i was on the performance mode (i try each mode and i always got high temperatures :/ ).

Uninstall all bloatware and trial versions, keep drivers and Windows up to date and don't have any 3rd-part programs running, Defender and Edge are default programs. No event errors, blank Reliability History, no Turbo boost CPU i7 runs <2%, below base freq. at 0.8GHz. Use Balanced Power Plan and all Windows defaults. Try that, maybe it will cool your system down a bit.

The it's best to either contact your vendor and arrange a return/swap if it's been a short enough time, or contact Acer for a warranty repair if it's been too long. It's possible the displayed temperature is a bug in AcerSense, and 109C should be never seen since thermal shutdown happens earlier than that. Swapping to a different physical machine will help verify that if it's only an AS bug.

Thank you for the answer. I thin that i will return the laptop to the reseller. I see the same temperatures with another software "Core Temp". Even 110° for severals seconds when i launch a bit heavy softwares but nothing huge for a intel core ultra 7 ...
