My Vero 514 comes on and the wifi button is toggled off. I move it to the on position and close the wifi window and it goes back to off. I can't make the wifi adapter to come on.

Any ideas?

There are a couple of different models that fit your description (CBV514-1H and CBV514-1HT), but I believe the WiFi is handled the same in both. They use the Intel AX211 chipset and it's built into the motherboard, so not on a daughter card that would be replaceable. The only thing that typically goes wrong (and it's rare) is for one of the antenna wires to get disconnected, but that wouldn't cause your issue. Is there any chance you are still in warranty?

Yes I believe it's still under warranty since I purchased the laptop Dec 2023. The model number is CBV514-1H-34X9.

I took the cover off the back and pushed down on the antenna connectors. It's not working but its been working on and off for the past few months.

    Should I do anything else?

    Thanks

Sorry- It's now working. I said in the previous post that it's not working.

As long as you are in warranty, go ahead and open a ticket with Acer support. There might be an issue with the WLAN chip, and that would entail a motherboard replacement to correct.
