Booting using USB with the Acer Nitro N50-620?

During bootup I pressed the F12 key to bring up the Boot Menu. I picked the USB drive, but regular boot from the C Drive (OS Drive) happened.

Yes, the USB drive is a bootable drive.

What am I not doing or missing?

If you want to do a clean install of Win-11 and start the bootable USB drive for your N50-620 desktop which should be the operating system, you don’t press the F12 key during boot, you need to get into the bios first and set the bios at BOOT > Removable Device Priority – highlight that and press Enter and set that as the priority boot >

As after you have done this, you put the USB into the USB port of the desktop, then you wait until the computer boots into the bootable USB and the screen shows a set of instructions in the right top coroner of the screen or it will boot straight into the bootable USB and into the Win-11 installation.

You need to have a working bootable USB drive that you should contract the following way:

    1. Download the Rufus 4.5 software and construct the boot USB with this software’s instructions as this is the best boot USB drive software to use.
    2. Download the ,ISO Win-11 version 23H2 file for the N50-620 desktop and use it with the Rufus 4.5 boot software
    3. Put the unzipped folder of the IRST (Intel® Rapid Storage Technology) Driver version 18.31.8.1042 onto the USB so that you can install this drive so that Win-11 OS recognizes the boot drive

Do all the above as it will work as you must be doing something wrong or the USB is not working or you haven't done it with Rufus, as all the above is 100% proven to work. Good luck and hope this has helped you out.
