Have a look at the specs of the RTX4060 as this NVidia RTX4060 8GB GPU has a TDP of 115W which is allot lower than the oem fitted Acer RTX3060 12GB GPU which has a TDP of 170W so it could work as it all depends on the memory and what type of 40 series RTX4060 you upgrade to, as the TDP means just how much power the GPU needs to operate the GPU, as then you need to add the N50-640 other peripherals power that they use on top of the 115W GPU power requirement to power your system, as that is how you determine the PSU needed for your desktop, so work out what the cpu, ram, mainboard and all the other peripherals that you may have and add to your desktop that their power consumption will be, and if it exceeds 500W then the oem N50-640 PSU is not adequate enough.

Note: that if you need to upgrade the N50-640 desktop oem Acer fitted 500W PSU which is a proprietary PSU it can't be upgraded as the mainboard has special Acer 8pin and 6 pin ATX plugs to power the mainboard and to upgrade to a higher wattage PSU there are no Acer upgradable PSU and and/or the new modular PSUs with 24pins plugs will not work as they needs to be modified which is not recommended. Good luck and hope this helps you out to solve this GPU upgrade

Here are all the oem GPUs that Acer fitted to the N50-640 as a guide:
