Security and innovation, also more robust (more stable) with flawless updating of your system including the drivers and firmware. Windows 10 will be no longer supported next year so there is no other option than W11 23H2 and soon W12.

Here are the key advantages of Windows 11 over Windows 10:

    Revamped User Interface

Windows 11 features a completely redesigned user interface that is more modern, consistent, and visually appealing. Key changes include:

    • Centered Start menu and taskbar for a more balanced layout
    • Rounded corners and Fluent Design elements for a softer, more approachable look
    • New Snap Layouts and Snap Groups for advanced window management and multitasking

    Improved Performance

Windows 11 delivers speed and efficiency improvements for a smoother computing experience, especially on less powerful devices. It has been fine-tuned to run background processes more efficiently.

    Enhanced Gaming Experience

Windows 11 introduces several gaming-focused features like Auto HDR for expanded color space, DirectStorage for faster game loading times, and Xbox Game Pass integration for a vast library of games. It makes every PC an Xbox.

    Optimized for Hybrid Work

Windows 11 includes productivity-boosting features like live captions for videos, direct Microsoft Teams integration, and the ability to create separate desktop instances for different projects. It enables seamless collaboration.

    Improved Security

Windows 11 has enhanced security features like Trusted Platform Module (TPM) for multi-factor authentication, UEFI secure boot, and hypervisor-protected code integrity. It is Microsoft's most secure Windows yet. While Windows 10 is still a great OS, Windows 11 offers a more modern, productive, and secure computing experience with its redesigned interface, performance optimizations, gaming enhancements, and collaboration tools. The upgrade is straightforward and worth it for most users.

    No, longer!!

    • Many laptops come with a basic DOS-based operating system like FreeDOS pre-installed instead of Windows. These laptops can still function, just without the Windows interface.
    • Laptops can run alternative operating systems like Linux instead of Windows. Linux is a free and open-source operating system that is compatible with most hardware, including laptops.
    • Some laptops are sold without any operating system pre-installed. In these cases, the user needs to install their desired OS, such as Windows, Linux or macOS, before the laptop can be used
    • On some older laptops or pc Linux better. Now a days its devloping so fast that linux give better 1% low (stable fps) As compare to Windows. THAT`S why people are shifting. But still Windows is better overall for now.

Not exactly! Almost all my home laptops are on 10 and I am skipping on 11. At work they installed 11 on new laptops and these devs all literally went back asking for 10. Windows 11 may have new jazzy stuff on the top but from productivity point there is hardly anything new compared to windows 10 other than changing layout and changing names of certain items in control panel. Kinda waiting to see when 12 comes in; still some time for 10 to fade away. And if 10 is out of support, enterprises can always go for extended support.
