I am having issues with my headset. I plug it in and it is recognized. I can sometimes get it to read sound in and out. But I work from home and use Zoom contact center. When I try to test the microphone and speaker, the microphone seems to work, but, the speaker you can barely hear at all. I work remotely and I need this to work. I have tried two new headsets and still having the same issues. Sometimes the sound control doesn't even hear me speak or the microphone.

Do I have a warranty on this computer? I am I believe, just over a year from purchase at Walmart.

I either need this to be fixed or have a new one that does work.

Thank you.

Hi Gerry, be aware that the ZOOM program takes full control of all your media devices, and you should try to adjust the audio parameters in ZOOM. Also, you have to activate the headset in Realtek Audio console after you have done that in Windows (duplicate process).

Thanks for your response. Zoom contact center is the one we use. when I go in zoom to check the speaker/microphone when I check the speaker is when I can barely hear any sound. It never used to do that. It just happened recently. When I go into Settings/Tools I set it up in there for the headphones I am trying to work with. I have been working on this a few days and am wondering if I should go to the geek squad for help. I can't hear the calls come in and people sound muffled. And at times they can hear me.
