Laptop says the RTX 4050 is capable to reach upto 140 TGP but it does not even cross 80 TGP… Moreover when I did the 1.16 bios update, for GPU optimization the frame rate and GPU utilization dropped so down, that without the bios update i was getting more fps and better GPU utilization….

TGP is the power drawn by the gpu of your PHN16-xx laptop, that figure with its RTX4050 gpu means nothing as its variable, have a look at this review of gaming laptops where the PHN16-71 is tested for its TGP, see here.

To increase your PHN16-xx performance and gpu fps for gaming, search the community excellent guides that are available as your laptop needs to be setup properly with the latest bios and windows updates and all NVidia graphics drivers, as all that will improve the performance of your laptop. Good luck and hope this helps you out.

Make sure your laptop is up to date with Win-11 and OS build 22631 and all the updates for your laptop. Update the bios to its last version 1.16 and install the NVidia GeForce Experience software and update the NVidia RTX4080 drive to its latest game ready driver and use the clean install option to this install, then try the benchmark again, as I don't think that you have setup your laptop fully.
