You mean when the laptop is running there is no charge-out on USB 2.0 and 3.0 ports? When the laptop is completely shut down there is no charge on the USB ports. If the USB ports are not working when the laptop is running in Windows, you should bring it to Acer Services in your country to check the USB ports and motherboard.

I am also facing similar issue with my SFG14-71 (swift go 14) model. It stopped working suddenly after around couple of month from buy.

The AC charging port and cable seems fine ( I could connect other device and see that charging works fine).

Issue seems to be with laptops USB-C ports (both the ports behaving same).

    Thanks

Since the original poster didn't tell us which laptop they were asking about, we weren't able to really answer their question, and they weren't able to mark it as solved once the issue was dealt with. Please start a new thread for yours, include the fill model number (SFG14-71-xxxx), a description of your problem and what you have tried so far.

Not sure why and what was wrong, but it started working next morning.

I am also facing the same issue. After 2- days of usage, the USB 3.1 charging slot became inactive, showing a charging sign but the battery is getting discharged despite charging the laptop. I also thought about the problem with the charger, but the charger is fine. It charges very slowly, in switched-off condition—about 50% in 7-8 hours.

And this happened after I stopped battery calibration in between.

I do not want to get my NEW laptop open within a month of buying.

I don't know what is the issue.

Since there were no Switch models that supported USB charging, I'm guessing you also are in the wrong place. Your full model number is usually on the same sticker as your serial number, it should look something like xxxxx-xxx-xxxx. My thought is you might have one of the many Swift models, instead of a Switch?
