Is it possible for me to replace my cpu fan with another cpu fan? Would I need extra screws or anything? This is the fan I'm looking to buy https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08HH6G48J/ref%3Dsspa_dk_hqp_detail_aax_0?psc=1&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9ocXBfc2hhcmVk

Should be possible. I would recommend getting Phantom spirit 120 se. It's cheaper and has better cooling performance than the 92mm noctua

Yes it is possible to replace the cpu cooler on your Predator desktop but use the Noctua NH-U12S or the chromax.black version if its still available as its link is not listed on the Noctua site, but search for the NH-U12S chrmax .black on Amazon or eBay as it still should be available.

The Noctua NH-U12S is a better and bigger surface thermal cpu cooler which is perfectly suitable for the Predator Orion 5000 PO5-640 desktop cpu cooling and this is what community members have used very successfully with your model desktop.

The smaller NH-S9U chromax.black cpu cooler has a 93mm long x 95mm wide thermal cooling area while the NH-U12S has a 125mm long x 101mm wide thermal cooling area for the Intel i7-12700 - Socket 1700cpu that your desktop has. Good luck and hope this helps you out

Yes, the NH-S9U is better suited for the smaller PO3 case, the NH-U12S provides a better fit for the larger case in the PO5 and PO7 designs. We haven't seen many users with the Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 SE, and they don't have an installation manual online, so I don't know if it's as easy to install as the Noctua.

well, if you're going with Noctua i highly recommend the NH-U12A its the most powerful they offer that will fit in that case.

i have had the same one in my pc for over 2 years now and it is cooling a 12900K no problem.

don't waste your time or money on a single fan air cooler.
