I have an Acer notebook latop, model N2OH2. I can be connected to WiFi and suddenly it tells me I have no network, I can’t see any network settings to re connect. If I press network and internet , it just says you aren’t connected to any networks but there is no option to re join any. It does this a lot every day, I have to force shut up each time for it to finally re appear.
Any suggestions would be so helpful as it’s my work laptop.

We have to know the actual model number of your laptop. The N20H2 doesn't help us because there doesn't seem to be any cross references for those numbers, and they also get reused after a while. Your full model number is usually on the same sticker as your serial number, it should look something like xxxxx-xxx-xxxx.

Open Device Manager and look at the network adapter. Is it an Intel AX201 based card? Which driver version is installed?

OK, Intel's latest driver is 23.60.1, so several revs newer than what you are running. Search for Intel's Driver and Support Assistant and have it upgrade the WiFi and Bluetooth drivers, then recheck for the issue.

Unfortunately it has done it again this morning. I thought it had solved it as not done it since but it’s done the same thing.

Are you running that latest driver from Intel?

I updated eveything that came up on the intel driver assistant. Checking the network adapter again and it’s now saying version is 23.60.1.2.

OK, so not likely to be the driver as such. Does it act the same if you go to a different physical network, such as at a cafe?

OK, last th8ing I can think of to check, there are two antenna wires connected to the WLAN card, they have really small connectors on them. If one has come loose it would act like the signal isn't strong enough…
