I have an Acer Swift 3 SF314-42. The camera is not working. I have tried restarting the laptop and installing new updates, but nothing has brought the camera back. When I open the camera application it gives me this error code: 0xA00F4244<NoCamerasAreAttached> When I go to the camera in Device Manager it says: This device is disabled. (Code 22) I have tried to enable the device with no success. Please help me get my HD User Facing Camera working again.

Back from what? Did this happen suddenly for no apparent reason?

This has happened before, but typically after restarting my computer or installing a new update the camera would start working again. Nothing I have done so far has been able to get my camera working again.

    (1) Shut down Windows normally.
    (2) Unplug charger
    (3) Gently insert a paperclip into the battery disconnect pinhole on  bottom for about a minute. See image below
    (4) Plug charger back in but wait for battery charge LED to turn from steady orange to steady blue
    (5) After battery charge LED turns steady blue, turn laptop back on

    Hello,

I use the Acer swift SFS314-512 and there's a "yellow error sign" on the FHD User facing in my system devices in Device manager.

After a lengthy phone call of troubleshooting with Level 1 and 2 technicians at Microsoft, resetting my PC while saving documents and losing all existing applications, the problem persists and my laptop camera is still not working.

    See screenshots attached.

I need help PLEASE, i can't afford another laptop right now.

Right click on the driver with the yellow error icon. Then uninstall it. Then exit Device Manager without trying to reinstall anything.

Then shutdown Windows normally. Then turn it back on again. Let Windows try to automatically re-detect the camera and reinstall fresh driver copies.
