What do I do to get manuals etc? I put in my serial number and nothing happens in Swift Go 16.

I put in my serial # and the SNID in the Drivers and Manuals page, I've pressed enter, I've clicked on the magnifying glasses, and nothing happens. I just bought this yesterday and would like to find out how it works.

    Yes, your full model number is SFG16-72-76U8 (note, no space between the SFG and the 16). For things like drivers and manuals you can just use SFG16-72 and ignore the rest of the digits.

    What computer do you have? Your full model number is usually on the same sticker as your serial number, it should look something like xxxxx-xxx-xxxx. Which Acer site are you looking at (there are different sites for most countries). If you are in the wrong country site the SN or SNID will likely not work, and you will have to use the model number instead.

    The SNID is 12 digits no gaps, the SN is 7 letters, 8 numbers then 8 more letters and numbers no gaps and the PN is 2 letters, gap, 5 letters, gap and 3 numbers. Is the model number SFG 16-72-76U8? I'll give that a go.

    While reading your answer and commenting, I saw a "Drivers and Downloads" button to the right under 'Assistance by Acer'. I clicked on that and it's taken me to all the stuff I want. Thanks for your help.
