try drum roll on the touchpad for 1 min and check..

if it does not work then try hard reset. Turn off the device, press and hold the refresh key and power button at the same time. ( beware any local data on the device would be erased )

Mine just started doing the same thing. I tried drum roll and hard reset. I then did a check for updates and found one so I did the update to V100.0.4896.64. The curious thing is right after reboot, when at the first login screen the touchpad works correctly. Once I complete the login the cursor goes away. An external mouse work fine but I prefer the touchpad.

I'm having the same problem. I turned the chromebook off then on. I updated Chrome OS. When I go to log into my account after turning on the chromebook I have a cursor. Once I see my desktop my cursor freezes then disappears. I created a second account on the chromebook and my cursor works just fine there. What can I do to get my cursor back? Any help is appreciated.

The F10 on the Acer Aspire 3 15 turns the touchpad on and off. The icon on the F10 key looks like a reounded corner rectangle with a slash though it.
