Hi,

I have been trying to find out for a few weeks if there are spare parts for a stylus,

Does anyone know where I can get spare tips (perhaps a bag of 20) for,

Acer Iconia Capacitive Stylus

Thanks,

Looks interesting absolute copy of acer or vice versa but the tips look very similar this may be worth trying the spare tips or getting the full stylus.. I had never heard of this stylus, Is it compatible with acer tablet i wonder?

But thank you very much for your help first real bit of valuable information.

Amazon offers many choices of new ones, have never run across parts.

I need this specific stylus as it is needed for technical drawing software and I dont want to have to buy a complete new stylus everytime, i though as there is a tip provided with the stylus that i could get replacements,

Ahh, try the following for the whole thing  - be prepared to give an arm and leg :-)

    http://www.acerstore.com.au/acer/store/index.php/stylus.html

http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1000801-REG/acer_np_oth11_008_capacitive_stylus.html/noContainer/Y and probably other places.  Parts, you might email Acer but wouldn't hold your breath.

If Acer doesn't have them you might try ebay, there are chinese companies that are supplying parts for some stuff, they might pick them up if there is call for them.

I would also google the number now and then over time if you don't find them.

Thanks, I have exhausted many avenues with Acer but keep getting passed around in circles without a definitive answer, It is an expensive stylus and we need 20- 30 of them as they provide the most accurate drawing capability but obviously i dont want to buy them if we cannot get replacement tips as I have tested one and i do believe over time the tips will break. I will check e-bay..

    Thanks

At 65 cents each i just buy these and consider them disposable. Work on both resistive and capacitive and not too short and not too big.

Again we need the stylus specifically for the accuracy for drawing. This is the only stylus that allows usto draw as the others are difficult to pinpoint exactly where we want to begin drawing a line etc.. if you look at the link provided you will see this stylus has a unique tip for drawing http://store.acer.com/store/aceremea/en_GB/pd/ThemeID.26339800/productID.272033600

Just a thought.  Have you tried the Dagi stylus?  It has a similar system and I notice tips available for some model.  Ebay for dagi stylus if interested.  I tried one and didn't like it on an older touchscreen but that computer was kind of a flop all around so don't know that my experience matters :-)
