Acer has stopped support for this tablet and its Android v9.0 (Pie) OS, go to an Android site and see if you can upgrade the tablet to Android v10 Queen Cake.

Just be aware that third party Android distributions aren't officially supported…

To update your Acer Iconia One 10 T8-129L tablet, you typically need to follow these steps:

    1. Connect to Wi-Fi: Make sure your tablet is connected to a stable Wi-Fi network. Updates are usually large and require a good internet connection.
    2. Check for Updates: Go to the Settings app on your tablet. Look for an option like "System" or "About Tablet." In that section, there should be an option for "System Updates" or similar. Tap on it.
    3. Download and Install: Your tablet will check for available updates. If there is an update available, it will prompt you to download and install it. Follow the on-screen instructions to proceed with the update.
    4. Restart if Necessary: After the update is installed, your tablet may restart automatically. If it doesn't, it's a good idea to restart it manually to ensure all updates are properly applied.
    5. Check for App Updates: After updating the system, it's also a good idea to update your apps from the Google Play Store or any other app store you use.

If your tablet is not finding any updates through the settings menu, you might want to check Acer's support website or contact Acer customer support directly for assistance. They can provide guidance specific to your tablet model and any updates that may be available.
