Hello friends, I have an older Acer Aspire E15, and it is not able to convert to Win 11. I know I probably have a few years in which I can run Win 10, but sooner or later things and apps will deteriorate. So, I want to switch to Linux Mint, which I have run before on this very machine. The problem is that when I try to load it to the machine the installation goes through its procedure but in the end it stops and does not complete. My hard drive is a small Sata SSD 246 MB if I recall. I use my old mechanical drive for storage as it is just too slow. I have tried different distros and burned them to a USB drive with Rufus, but none of them stick. Furthermore, I ran Linux (Zorin 16) on this PC when I had the mechanical drive in it with no problems. Once I used an SSD, I just did not want to go back to a mechanical drive. Any ideas as to what I am doing wrong? Thanks so much.
