Hi All, how do I enable the boot mode so I can change it from UEFI into a different one?

Solutions tried:

1.Create a super user password

2.Disabled Secure Boot

3.Disabled TPM

Laptop Model: Nitro AN515-58

Windows 11

A little bit of context on why I want to enable — want to try changing it since I'm trying to install windows 7 as a dual boot. The screen freezes on the when the starting logo if Windows 7 installation shows and saw a solution on youtube to change the boot mode.

Tried different installers and they are working on my other laptop so I'm sure the installers are not the problem and they're not corrupted.

Thank you!

You asked this question before and it was answered, as the main reason why you are having problems is that the Nitro AN515-58 laptop IS NOT A WINDOWS 7 LAPTOP, don't spoil a good laptop with an inferior operating system, please realize that, as the Nitro AN515-58 is a Win-11 laptop. SOLUTION - get a cheap Acer Aspire laptop that came oem Win-7, as that will work 100% for you.

First of all, this is the first time I have asked this question, so not sure where you are coming from. Second, Windows 11 laptops should still be able to dual boot Windows 7 (this is normal for other laptops).

I was asking for an input on why the boot mode is greyed out and yet your answer didn't address the actual question instead you just answered rudely and not actually tackling the actual query.

it’s normal for it to be greyed out. The only thing you can do is set a supervisor password and disable secure boot which disables uefi. Not much can be done on the an515-58. Only thing I’m doing is downgrading out of windows 11 and putting windows 10 on it as windows 10 is far superior in my opinion for gaming.
