That is the power indicator and blue means the system is on. When shut down and slowly blinking amber you are not fully shut down but in sleep or in hybrid mode (fast Startup enabled). When the power LED is steady amber when plugged in and shut down that indicates a hardware issue. disconnect the power adapter and stick a pin in the back of the laptop at the right edge in the middle where there is a small pinhole with a battery symbol. press the pin gently down till you feel a click (microswitch) and keep pressing for 5 seconds, this will reset the battery. Also boot to BIOS and reset BIOS with F9 (in BIOS) save changes on exit and reboot to Windows. Disable both Hibernate and Fast Startup options in "Change what closing the lid does" and in "Change settings currently unavailable".

In the Swift SF315-51G when the battery Charging: The light show amber and when Fully charged: The light show blue when in AC
mode. What your problem is that the battery is not fully charged, and this can be a symptom when the laptop is plugged into mains power 24/7 for a while and one solution is to unplug the laptops adapter and run the battery to its lowest charge and when windows warns of a battery low charge and then recharging the laptop battery fully, as that works allot of times in solving this problem,

Otherwise, and especially with a 2017-18 laptop like the Swift SF315-51G and if you never ever have changed the battery, then this is a sign that you should change your SF315-51Gs battery for a new one as its not fully charging to its required capacity. Try all that and let us know, the Swift oem Acer SF315-51G batteries are the following Acer part numbers: KT.00403.032 KT.00403.040 KT.0040G.006 The 403s are both Sanyo, but with different labeling, the 40G is from LGC. Good luck.

Nothing, its got nothing to do with bios, this is a battery or a main power/charging rail issue that either you change the battery and it fixes the problem, or you need to take your laptop to a technician so that he can analyze the power/charge rails in your laptop and fix appropriate faults. As a reset of anything doesn't fix this issue.

I’ll try this first before going to the technician. I’ll update you soon what’s the progress.
