My Acer Swift SF314-41 laptop was having problems with the keyboard, suddenly my keyboard didn't function at all except the power button. I have done everything, one of which is by updating and uninstalling the PS/2 keyboard driver and I have also reset my laptop but my keyboard is still not working. Is there a solution to my problem? please help, thanks.

Find out if this is a hardware problem with the KB cable or keyboard itself by using a USB external keyboard or OSK, BIOS may also indicate if it is HW related. If everything else works but your integrated KB not, bring the laptop to Acer Services in your country to check, it may be just a loose contact.

I'm facing the same issue just a slite difference is that my power button is not responding too. My backlights and power on light indicator is on. Even after shutting down. I've to wait for my battery to drain. Then after plugging it in again. It get responsive again.

Please help me with this. This is the second time it's happening .

Do you also have the same SF314-41 model? If both the keyboard keys and the power button are having issues, and your power button is on the keyboard, then the issue might be with the connection between keyboard and motherboard, either a loose connection or corrosion buildup on the contacts.
