I bought an extra ram stick in order to have a total of 16 gb, but everytime I try to slide in the stick, these 2 little pieces keep preventing me from doing so.

This is the correct ram for the Nitro AN515-55 laptop and if you want to upgrade to 16GB and your oem ram is 8GB you need to add a 1x 8GB DDR4-3200MHz ram module highlighted below or match the exact 8GB spec module fitted into your AN515-55 laptop (install GPUz and see the SPD section) if you can buy that ram, as that is the best way to upgrade your arm and to make sure that it fits into the laptops ram slots. There should be no problems with the ram slot pins of your laptop if you have bought the correct spec ram.

If your new RAM stick won’t fit in your Acer AN515-55, it might be due to one of these reasons:

    1. Incorrect RAM Type: Ensure you have DDR4 RAM, as this is what the AN515-55 supports.
    2. Size Issue: Check if the RAM stick's physical size matches the slot, as some RAM may be too tall.
    3. Orientation: Align the notch on the RAM stick with the notch in the slot to ensure proper orientation.
    4. Slot Availability: Make sure you're inserting the RAM into an available slot and not one already occupied.

Double-check these factors, and the RAM should fit correctly.
