I have Acer spin 3, the model is SP314-21-R7H7 manufactured in 2020. I have been using my laptop is very care since the beginning but All of the sudden it's charging port became loose. it doesn't get charged and only charges at a certain angle, other than that it is not charging. I never dropped my charger nor my latop but I don't know why it happened. what should I do? I really need sincere suggestions.

Are you sure it's the jack itself that's loose, or something with the plug? On your SP314-21 the DC-In jack is soldered to the motherboard, so it unusual to say the least to have it moving.

You can go to a PC repair shop to try the new charger to see if it solves the intermittent charging issue. Or ask the technician to bend the charging port's contact for a better connection.

I think my port has been pushed backwards and due to this it is not making a proper connection to the charger. is there any possibility that the port is pushed backwards?

Not really, since it is soldered to the motherboard it can't be shifted without also shifting the motherboard itself. That would affect everything on that side of the machine. It's got a slight possibility that the jack itself is broken, you would have to visually inspect after opening the laptop up to see if there's anything like that going on.

I just want to ask one more thing. if I change my charging port or something in laptop will this affect the overall performance of my laptop or is there any possibility that my laptop would never work as It was during past 3-4 years? I actually have a lot of data in it and I can't afford to buy a new one so this is really bothering me that what if my laptop never recovers as it was before. kindly if you could tell something about it. it would be really helpful. Thank you

Changing the port shouldn't affect performance in any way, changing it, however, is not a task for the faint of heart and does have the risk of damaging the motherboard. A qualified technician should do it, unless you are very comfortable with surface mount soldering in a static free environment. Your data should all be on the drive and that wouldn't be affected by the repair. I highly suggest to do a full backup before starting.
