Hello, i have an acer aspire E5-575TG or at least that what the site tells me cuz my laptop looks way more different from the image, but anyways i have 2 GPU one is an Intel and the other is a nvidia this day i got a blue screen, when i restarted nothing was wrong so i continued with my day less than an hour later i get another blue screen this time when i boot up my laptop won't recognize my nvidia gpu anymore (i tried manually installing the drivers and searching it in device manger both didn't work and i can't even see the gpu in device manger even as a hidden device) can anyone please help me. Also i tried a clean reset and that didn't work too

If you can still boot to Windows, download DDU freeware from Wagnardsoft.com and boot to Safe Mode, open DDU and uninstall the Nvidia display driver: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000057389/graphics.html Don't install anything just reboot.

If you have tried reinstalling the Nvidia driver with the Nvidia Custom Option of the “Clean Install” which deletes all the previous Nvidia drivers and installs the latest driver, and afterwards the gpu doesn’t appear in Device Manager then the gpu hardware is faulty and you will need to take your laptop to a technician to see if you might be lucky and if its the VRam then it could be fixed but if a protective mosat chip that has shorted and its allowed too much current into the gpu, then the gpu is shorted and cocked and that can’t be fixed and you will only be able to use the Intel cpu graphics. There is nothing else that you can do, good luck.

Hello, about the drivers, before fully reseting my laptop i tried looking at nvidia geforce experience, and it won't show anything, i tried installing it via the web and it says i don't have a compatible GPU so if you have any idea on how i can do a clean instillation that would help, meanwhile i will try the ddu thing hope everything is well.

Hello, so i did what you said and nothing happened it still didn't appear in device manager i don't know if this is supposed to happen or not, anyways when i get about 80$ i will go to a technician and see what's wrong with it, if the repairs cost more than 50$ i think i will just wait with it for a year and buy a pc with a dedicated GPU and won't be able to play with it...

Make sure that the laptop is not overheating. Try to drain the power by locating a battery reset pinhole at the bottom of the laptop.

Hello there, as you've said the laptop has been overheating a lot lately but when that happens i close all apps and just let it rest in front of the AC, and is there anything i should do after draining the battery or just restarting the laptop?

If you have done that, you can turn on the laptop to find the GPU and see if it is available. Overheating will likely damage the GPU if you don't clean the laptop regularly.
