How do I get the right control key back?

This $3100 laptop I bought has the copilot key in place of the right control key. You can't remap it with Microsoft power tools. You can change the shortcut it inputs to right control, but it doesn't work well either. The input of LWindows+LShift interferes with games that use LShift for an action, and if you want right control to work as it should LWindows+LShift interferes with that too. I want to convert that copilot key into a normal right control with no extra keystrokes. How can that be done, Acer?

I'm guessing no one has a clue how to modify that button. If its output is set in the registry I have no idea where to find it. If it's controlled by the keyboard driver then it's unfixable and a waste of space since I have no use for copilot. However, I do have a use for the right control key. I've used it every day for nearly 30 years. They should have replaced that menu/context key instead of right control. I've never even had a keyboard with a menu/context key before now.
