Predator Sense download for PO5-650-UB21? +High CPU temps

My new Predator Orion 5000 had decent CPU temps after I got it a couple weeks ago, but then it felt like something changed and my CPU was almost always at ~100C when gaming. I downgraded to Windows 10 to try to fix the issue (and because I wanted Windows 10 anyway) but that didn't really work, and more to the original point I no longer have the Predator Sense app.

Searching PO5-650-UB21 on the support page doesn't show any Predator Sense downloads or even any drivers. How can I install it? I tried other downloads floating around but those always say "the device model is not supported".

I plan on installing a new CPU fan later but I don't really think that's the final answer as any time the CPU is ~50% load it's 100C which seems ridiculous.

PS is in the Applications section, not in Drivers. Windows 10 isn't supported on the PO5-650, the chipset is too new for that old of an OS. Likely what happened when you started seeing the higher temperatures was a change to the fan mode. 'Silent' mode will run much hotter…

But nothing shows up at all other than 1 random recommended post from the community. I just tried to look again to confirm and it appears the search isn't working….

No, it has always been on auto or max CPU fan.

This is what I see on the USA support site:

I went to the Acer support site, then selected drivers from the left, then typed in PO5-650 and was presented with those.

Ahh that did it, turns out I needed to leave out the "UB21" from the model number. Thanks.

Yeah, the UB21 defines the specific SKU, so it's too much detail for their lookup engine.
