Can I recover files from an acer tablet Acer A1-810 that I threw in the trash 6 months ago?

Ok so my tablet was an Acer tablet Acer A1-810. It was broken years ago so I thought of putting it in the trash and the garbage truck picked it up and drove away. Now I am concerned about the files that were in the tablet. I was thinking of buying another tablet from Acer and syncing the files from the broken tablet to my new tablet. Does acer have a backup or internal storage? Those files are very important to me.

Most often with Android devices the files are backed up to the cloud (Google Drive) and very little is physically on the tablet. If the tablet works, but just has a broken screen, you can likely connect it using USB to another computer and copy files off.

The problem is that I threw it in the garbage can and the garbage truck picked it up to the landfill

Then there is nothing you can do. Without the tablet in hand you can't access anything on it. If you had it backed up to your Google drive, then you just need to log into Google to access those files.
