It is possible using diskmanager.msc but I would not recommend at least not without backing it up.

Right click in This PC, choose Manage. From there click on Disk Management on the left side. Find the recovery paetition on the SSD, right click and Delete Partition. Reusing the space as anything other than a new partition is a little more involved though. :-)

Sounds like you are looking at a memory card rather than the SSD. You should see the C drive and three or for little drives, one of which is the recovery partition...

Guess I am just a DOS person. I go to desktop, right click in the lower left corner and select RUN. Then I type in DISKMGMT.MSC

The SSD should be Disk 0. If you delete the recovery partition you may be able to right click on the C: drive and EXTEND the volume. If it is grayed out you cannot. In that case you may have to rebuild the entire drive but be careful and do with an install from some other media or you may learn the meaning of "to brick".

i just deleted the partition using another 3rd party disk partitioning tool, rather than the disk management. the volume name of the drive was PUSH BUTTON RESET. now i got 8.2gb free space Smiley Very Happy
