PredatorSense 5.0.1341 Doesn't work on Predator PH16-71

A new update dropped for PredatorSense 2024-05-8 and It's version
5.0.1341.

I don't know what's new in that version, But it doesn't work after updating

problems:

  1. The app won't launch, and it just says "To complete the setup process, please select "Yes" when the User
    Account Control notification appears."

After pressing yes to it, After a couple of seconds a new window appear saying that I need to launch the app from the start menu In Windows and then the cycle repeats and the Software won't launch.

I tried Uninstalling PredatorSense Completely and re-downloading version
5.0.1341 from Acer official site and a new problem appears after lunching the setup.exe

that says, "A newer version of PredatorSense Config is already installed."

Which doesn't make any sense since I removed everything related to Predator on my Laptop

How I fixed it ?

I downloaded the previous version of PredatorSense which is
4.1.635 and it worked.

But the old version keeps asking for an Update on the Microsoft store every time I launch it or opening the Microsoft Store.

Note that version
4.1.635 is
171.31 MB

And Version
5.0.1341 is
543.74 MB

My laptop is : Predator PH16-71

    That's the first thing that I tried And It didn't work, same problem.

    I leave you some methods that at some point worked:

    Once downloaded, download the application from the download page on your computer, unzip it and look for the files:

    appxbundle and Microsoft .NET Framework x64

    Right click on them and run them:

    Restart and check the result.

    These Files just don't exist on version 5.0.1341 of PredatorSense try downloading it.

    @ALI_Alakber sorry, I thought they were the same parameters in Nitro Sense and Predator Sense, let's see if there are more answers, I don't know what the problem could be.

    This method is worked for me. I uninstalled v5.0.1341 and installed v4.1.635

    Firstly it did not installed and not opened but then I clicked "ec7f7d6df3be4798a7277fd5ba9baceb" file and installed it. It is relevant with Microsoft Store. I also stopped the update for the app both in Store and App.

    Now I will continue with v4 until they release new version.

    They are exist. If you install application from drivers page you can find it from here after unzipping it:

    Predator Sense_Acer_5.0.1341_W11x64\PredatorSense_5.0.1341\UWP

    The problem is that Acer published an update without testing it, The whole thing is busted.

    it works, just uninstall both predator sense and predator sense config from control panel. Use CCleaner to clean registry. Then restart and install version 5.0.1341. WORKS FINE WITH PH16-71

    Hi.

    Thanks For the responses.

    I figured out what was causing the problem, It was AcerSense I had it downloaded from the Microsoft store and it was conflicting with the new (config) version of PredatorSense Thinking that I have the latest already Installed.

    Fixed it by uninstalling AcerSense and Reinstalling PredatorSense V5 from Acer Site

    Not true. It did not work for me and it failed to launch.

    I uninstalled it, ran cc cleaner and reinstalled 4.1.635 it worked right back away. ACER made a stupid move and don't push their crappiness on customers. FFS we are buying a gaming laptop, not some run-of-the-mill.
