This is the ram specs and types that the Aspire A715-76G takes and Acer lists in this laptops service guide. The SK Hynix HMAA2GS6CJR8N-XN below is a 16GB DDR4-3200Mhz SODIMM (Small Outline Dual In-Line Memory Module) designed for laptops and other compact systems. Use only the suggested Acer listed ram below as that ram has been tested by Acer with this laptop for best performance for this laptop. Good luck.

    This is its specifications:

    • Form Factor: 260-pin SODIMM
    • Total Capacity: 16GB (16GB x 1)
    • Speed: DDR4-3200 (3200 MHz)
    • Voltage: 1.2V
    • Type: Unbuffered NON-ECC (Error-Correcting Code)
    • Rank: Dual rank
    • CAS Latency (CL): 22
    • Compatible Devices: Laptops

As stated in the table above: 3200MHz in Dual Channel mode, which means with two identical RAM modules, speed, ranking, CL even the brand, forming a kit. Avoid RAM with XMP profile like Corsair Vengeance, BIOS does not support XMP. Get the Crucial RAM in the link above. When you mix RAM the system will downclock to a lower speed.
