I have this Acer Predator 16" with i9-13900HX, and RTX 4070 spec laptop and recently its acting strange… It doesn't want to turn on unless plugged in and when I press the power button when unplugged, it just flashes the red light on its right side... but when I plug it in, it just turns on quickly and while turned on, I could unplug it and use the battery as normal... I already tried changing all my power settings to "BALANCED" and still nothing seems to help... How do I fix this?

Did you update W11 23H2 to build 22631.3527? It could have a Power Plan issue, reset BIOS with F9 to factory default and reset the power plan settings to defaults in "Edit Power Plan". Disable Hibernate (Fast Startup will then also be disabled) and uninstall the 2 battery drivers in Device Manager (red circle picture). If this happened recently restore the system (registry) to an earlier date when no issues, type restore in Search and click on "Create a restore point" followed by "System Restore" and select a date. You may have corrupted system files, refresh Windows system image online with this command (paste): Dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth and after completion run this command: SFC /scannow that should end with "…did not find any integrity violations".

Hello, It still doesn't work. I did everything you said. Indeed, I updated my device to build 22631.3527… in the process you stated, I reverted back to build 22631.3447, uninstalled the batteries drivers, edited power plan and reset to default, and lastly the command you indicated, I thought it worked because in my first run of the scan, it said to have found a problem and fixed it and it requires me to restart to continue fixing it, but after restarting and rescanning, it said "…did not find any integrity violations." I shut down the laptop, and removed the plug hoping that it works… it still didn't work….
