Bought a refurbished Acer Swift Edge - 16" Laptop this month. Was just starting to set it up and the darn screen cracked while opening it up! I'm going in circles trying to find a replacement screen, or getting help from Acer to get it replaced.

Anyone know where I can get a replacement screen?

You can either ask Acer Services in your country to replace the panel and hinge assembly or consult a reputable PC repair workshop that specializes in screen replacements, preferably an Acer accredited shop. Expenses are estimated between $150-200. A DIY option is not recommended unless you are laptop repair savvy and changed a panel and hinges successfully before.

If yoou do decide to go with the replacement yourself, here is the Acer part number and description:

Thank you! By chance to you know where I can find a screen? I've been looking and haven't had any luck yet.

BTW- I use to build computers, years ago, so I'm not too worried about doing the replacement… crazy that this broke so easily, something I've never seen happen in over 20 years!

Sourcing one is going to be very different depending on where you are located. Contact Acer support and they can point you toward suppliers in your locale.
