Hello

I have installed the windows 10 again, and after that the battery shows fully charged but, if I unplug the wire the laptop dies. Looks the fresh win10 doesn't know about the battery existence. I believe I need the battery drivers.

tks a lot

Windows 11 has better battery management than windows 10 at least in my experience. There is no such thing as proprietary battery drivers for some brand , you may find some kind of power management driver or software by putting your snid/serial number in , but 1st make sure you have updated your bios to the latest version .

Another thing that you can try is third party driver updater like iobit driver booster , though I don't recommend it.

When did you last replaced your battery and what is your laptop model, run a battery report with the adapter plugged in: type powercfg /batteryreport in the Command Prompt and look what the full charge indicates, if much lower than the designed capacity you need a new battery.
