I just notice that 1 of its exhaust is pointing towards the monitor, I just want to know if its bad for the monitor as sometimes I'm using my laptop for gaming for couple of hours. I hope someone answer this. Thank you!

Having your laptop's hot air exhaust vent blowing directly onto your monitor for long periods, especially during gaming sessions, is not recommended. It can potentially cause issues like:

    • Heat buildup on the monitor, leading to image problems or damage over time.
    • Dust accumulation on the screen and inside the monitor from the exhaust airflow.
    • Shortened monitor lifespan due to prolonged heat exposure.

To avoid these issues, try to position your laptop so the exhaust vent is not pointing at the monitor. Increase the distance between them if repositioning isn't possible. Using a laptop cooling pad can also help redirect the hot air away from the monitor screen. Regular cleaning is advised to remove any dust buildup as well.

Overall, while not an immediate problem, you should try to minimize direct hot air exposure on your monitor from the laptop's exhaust to protect your display long-term.

It's fine to use laptop as much as you want. Laptop will shutdown automatically if overheat. Make sure to use laptop properly for better cooling otherwise is may get damage.

Prop the laptop up with books around the sides to reduce heat

Grab stack of 2-4 books that are equally thick. Slide the spine of a book 2–3 inches (5.1–7.6 cm) under the right side of the laptop. Do the same on the left side of the laptop.

[You can also Buy good cooling pad in which stands are inbuilt, its better than books].

I just wondered why ACER put 1 Aspire 76G-5188's exhaust vent where the hot air is going towards it own monitor, if its bad they shouldn't put it there. D**n engineers
