Just got a refreshed Swift 14 model SFG14-71T-78CH with touchscreen.

I tried to connect (bluetooth on Acer) my iPlume USI Stylus to it but it will not see it.

This stylus works with my Acer Chromebook. Maybe the screen is different?

There was no documentation with the refreshed computer…

Thoughts?

This Swift SFG14-71T-78CH does not have a stylus and the Bluetooth should work as this laptop has either an Intel or a Killer BT card (get its drivers from this laptops Acer Support) , try to refresh the BT driver in Device Manager or reinstall the BT driver with the oem Acer provided driver.

Thanks.. do you mean this model does NOT support a stylus (or just did not come with one)?

Also with my old Dell I could use an APP and the laptop would find updated drivers, etc. and install them.

Does Acer have such an App?

I enter my model in this site but it seems only to find Community content.

    Drivers and Manuals

    Identify your Acer Device

Enter your device serial number, SNID or model number

The closest you can get to a stylus is one of the blunt tipped pens that act like a finger. You need a digitizer to use an active stylus, and the T models don't have that. Use just the model series (SFG14-71T) when in the support site search box.

Thanks… I did find a list of drivers. I was hoping that had some sort of auto-detect like Dell.

Not sure if I need the drivers…. would have to install each one I guess and see if it takes…?
