How can I upgrade my ram on a Predator g3-571?

After installing new RAM, I recieve the BSOD. The new RAM calls for 3200 but the old ram uses 2666. Is my RAM upgrade compatible? Can I update or change anything within my bios to allow this upgrade to work?

According to Crucial's website RAM can be upgraded with 2666mhz DDR4 with a CL of 16, up to 32GB (2x16GB) total RAM. Did you install a kit with 2 identical SODIMMs (recommended) or mixed? 3200MHz mixed modules may not be supported.

I understand you say "The new RAM calls for 3200 but the old ram uses 2666"

Install both the ram at the same speed. You might have to use two identical ram with same speed. If you use it with two different speed it might take the lowest speed.
