Getting my W700 soon Smiley Happy

One thing I want to know... if I want to for example play fifa13 for a while and I dock the w700 to the docking station and play for like 1 hour... will that damage the battery? And in general, will the battery be damaged when I use the tablet while using it?

Please help me as this is my first tablet and I dont know how batteries works, and I really dont want to make the battery last shorter just because lack of knowledge!

Thanks im advance Smiley Happy

I would say no, you shouldn't worry about that. Batteries improved a lot since those times where we had to take the battery out of a pc when plugged in to keep it "healthy". Just connect it to the dock and play Smiley Very Happy Then you won't have to worry about how much time left you have to play Smiley Wink

    Hi sopaj96,

Please make sure when you use ur device off the dock to be sure to run the battery to empty and then recharge device.

This will make sure the battery gets the best use.

So I can use it while it is in the dock station without making damage to the battery?

any new computer's battery will wear down over time... using it on the dock wont make it magically start falling... but if u NEVER or rarely use it as a tablet it might... example... i have a macbook pro that stays plugged in 90+percent of the time and the battery has gone bad on me once and i believe the battery's overall storage is less now that rated even though its less than a year old...

Keep your tablet off the dock the majority of the time and you shouldn't have any issues with occasionally leaving it on the dock overnight or playing on the dock.

*course as you know i dont have mine in just yet... but speaking from experience with other brands of tablets / laptops...*
