What pen is actually used for Aspire A3SP14-31PT
I have an Acer Aspire 3 Spin 14 computer and an Acer AES 1.0 Active Stylus. The Aspire is listed as having "Active Stylus support," as far as I can tell the two products should be compatible. However, I can't figure out how to actually get the stylus to work.
On the side of the stylus, I have inserted a battery in the correct orientation, and don't see anything else I should need to do for it to function, or to independently check that it is functioning.
On the side of the laptop, I have considered that there is some additional driver/software I need before it will register stylus inputs that wasn't preinstalled. However, I didn't find anything that seemed relevant under the Product Support page's Drivers and Downloads for the Aspire A3SP14-31PT, and I'm not sure where else I would look to find out and get what is needed.
I have also considered that the two products simply aren't compatible with each other, but in that case I am unsure how to find a stylus that is compatible with the Aspire's "Active Stylus support." I'll upload a photo of the stylus I bought. I just can't find any clear answer 😕
Thank you for any help/suggestions you can provide!

Your Aspire A3SP14-31PT is stylus compatible but its stylus needs to be an AES pen. The part numbers for at least some of those pens are and have a look at these pens on ZANDPARTS so try these part number pens NC.23811.07A, NC.23811.07H or NC.23811.07R. The Acer Active Stylus NC23811046 that you have is not compatible.

Sorry can't find any specs on this stylus, contact ZANDPARTS and ask them or Acer, as they don't have specs on these stylus pens on the web.

I didn't 🙃 I don't get why its so difficult to find a clear answer aha I'm probably just going to call acer at this point.

I wrote them the other day and their answer was:
Your device supports technically compatible pens that comply with the WACOM AES protocol. However, we have not tested a specific model, so we regret that we cannot make a specific recommendation.
If this has caused any inconvenience, we sincerely apologize.
