So while using the laptop it suddenly shut down, then when i tried to reboot it just says "boot failed or no booting drive" (i forgot)
on the bios i noticed it didnt show the SSD name or model, it just showed "NONE" although it was connected to the laptop.
i tried resetting the bios settings, changing legacy to UEFI, (theres no option to change SATA connection), and tried connecting it to the cdrom port with a hard drive caddy.
yes it does work when i connect the ssd externally but its 10x slower.
i connected it to a different computer and it did show up and its health was pretty good.
i also tried:
- changing the ram or putting the ram in a different port AND putting both old and new rams.
- updating the bios.
- power drain test or reset.
- connecting a different harddrive to the laptop.
- yes i did unscrew the laptop to check on it from the inside and it wasnt that dirty.
also checked the ports and they seemed ok.
something i noticed was when i removed the hard drives from the laptop the HDD led didnt light up, but when i boot the laptop with an hdd plugged in it does light up but then stops.
i have a usb drive with windows 10 on it that i can boot from but i dont know what i can do with it to fix the problem (disk managment also doesnt detect the hard drive, only externaly)
